The 2017 NFL Draft did not do any favors for the Arizona Cardinals.
While they were able to grab a talent in Budda Baker, his place on the team basically became a wash when the Tyrann Mathieu saga started.
Instead, the Cardinals whiffed on a number of picks and look to only have Baker left to show for it.
Haason Reddick was the darling of the 2017 draft offseason, with his lead up to the draft becoming the stuff of legends.

That’s why when you do a draft re-do like we have with SB Nation it is interesting to see where a player like Reddick falls.
After being a top 13 pick in the draft, his slide stopped with the 52nd pick and the Cleveland Browns.
I think looking back it was clear that as a player, Reddick wasn’t worth a first round pick, maybe a late flier from a team that had time to develop him, but he was much more athlete than football player at the time.
Instead, if he goes late round two and while the upheaval around the Browns is probably not the best for Reddick, I feel like he would have less expectations and more time to marinate.
So, Reddick goes in round two of the 2017 NFL Re-Draft, does that surprise you?
