Another week in the offseason and another week of SB Nation giving us a theme.
This week’s theme is the greatest rivalries in the NFL.
Here is my question, no one will say the Cardinals are a team with a large following and strong history, so rivals are few and far between.
Instead they have yearly one off rivalries or maybe short term rivals.
So, who would you say is the Arizona Cardinals biggest rival?
When I was growing up it was the Dallas Cowboys, but really only to the Cardinals. The Cowboys didn’t care about the Cardinals while they were busy winning Super Bowls.
Now, it seems to fluctuate between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.
What do you think?
I hope that the Cardinals develop a long-term rivalry with someone, I think the Seahawks are on the way down (they’re still really good) but I think the 49ers could potentially be that match. With Kyle Shanahan already setting himself up as one of the best play callers in the NFL. He and Kingsbury matching wits while Kyler Murray tries to solve that defense. That could be something fun.
