Yesterday it was reported that the NFL had offered the NFLPA a single preseason game.
Well, according to Adam Schefter they have made a new offer and they are willing to wipe out the preseason altogether.

This will have huge implications on rookies, undrafted free agents and fringe roster players.
The Arizona Cardinals have a number of roster spots available and at this rate it’ll be interesting to see if those go to newer players, veterans new to the roster or players who already are familiar with the Kliff Kingsbury offense and Vance Joseph defense.
It will also make the lost offseason more important now.
Rookies have never played under Kliff and Vance. They have no on field work in their systems and now they’ll have no game time before game one.
This offseason has been a crazy one and if this ends up being what happens, it’ll be tough to see rookies having a huge early impact in 2020.
