The Seattle Seahawks 100% got better today, but they gave up an astronomical sum to acquire All Pro safety Jamal Adams from the New York Jets.

Jets deal Jamal Adams and 4th-round pick in 2022
To
Seattle, in exchange for Bradley McDougald (safety), 1st-round pick in 2021, 3rd-round pick in 2021, and 1st-round pick in 2022, source tells ESPN.
Deal is pending physicals.
The Arizona Cardinals will have to deal with Adams at least the next two seasons, but you’d expect that the Seahawks will be willing to give Adams quite the contract extension in order to keep him in the fold after they mortgaged so much of their future picks.
Adams is a two time Pro Bowl safety and was an All Pro last season.
The 24-year old Adams had been unhappy with the direction of the New York Jets and head coach Adam Gase. He now goes to one of the most stable organizations in the NFL in the Seattle Seahawks who are entering year 11 under Pete Carroll and John Schneider.
Adams is one of the best players in the league, but this is a massive investment by the Seahawks.
