What happens next is anyone’s guess, but it seems like the NFL is still hell-bent on starting the 2020 season on time.
Despite the shortening of preseason, despite no fans at training camp, or training camp away, the plan seems to be games starting on time.
The question is will fans be involved?
There is now speculation that there may be… If they are willing to sign a Covid-19 waiver.
NFL wants fans in stadiums come September, but they might have to sign a Covid-19 waiver. My story https://t.co/Gs6Zc3JI6Z

That begs the question, would you sign the waiver if it allowed you to be at games?
It will likely be with a lower allowed attendance, meaning that less fans in the stadium, but still fans within the stadium.
Fans may have to make a decision on whether they are comfortable with being in the stadium knowing that the pandemic is still going on.
Whether waivers are required is yet to be seen, but if they have fans you’d expect some sort of protocol in place. Likely temperature checks at the entrances and masks required inside.
Still, you have to feel like no fans, especially early in the season may be the way to go.
Would you sign?
