While most things have gone incredibly smooth for the San Francisco 49ers this offseason, maybe some small cracks are starting to show.
Running back Raheem Mostert’s agent has taken to Twitter to let people know that the 49ers running back would be seeking a trade due to an inability to come to terms on a new contract.
After months of unproductive talks with the 49ers about fairly adjusting Raheem Mostert's contract (which paid him for special teams) we have requested a trade. Disappointing that it would come to this for a guy who led all NFL RBs in YPC & helped lead them to the Super Bowl.

Mostert had 220 yards and four touchdowns in the 49ers romp in the NFC Championship game, he finished the 2019 season with 772 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 5.6 yards per carry.
He has been a dynamic player for the 49ers, and after a productive season and massive postseason was hoping to cash in, which apparently could not happen.
We’ll see what happens as the 49ers already traded one running back in Matt Breida this offseason.
That would leave Tevin Coleman, Jerick McKinnon and undrafted free agent JaMycal Hasty as the running backs on the roster.
We’ll see what happens here, but not every aspect of the offseason has been great for the 49ers.
