We’re a couple of weeks away from the start of the NFL season and one of the main cogs of the Arizona Cardinals offense is in a walking boot.
Kenyan Drake is pegged as one of the top running backs in the NFL heading into the 2020 season.
Yet, you can’t do anything if you’re on the sidelines.
Drake should be fine, that is what he is telling everyone.
Was in a walking book around this time last summer too. Just trying to stay consistent lol no worries I’m good

Drake should be fine and the Cardinals will lean heavily on one of the highest paid running backs in the NFL in 2020.
They also have Chase Edmonds who they like quite a bit.
The running back room is a strength, and the reason it is such a strength is not because of the presence of Drake and Edmonds, but because of the Cardinals 2020 seventh round selection Eno Benjamin.
Benjamin is acclimating himself to the NFL and will likely see little work in 2020, but he has shown he is a gamer on the field. He was a workhorse over three seasons with the Arizona State Sun Devils and has shown that he can grind out work as well as be a big play threat.
He is solid in the passing game, but his work in the NFL will likely be a third down back. Yet, he can do more than enough work if pressed into action with Drake missing time or if Edmonds proves unreliable in his health.
What Benjamin is long-term will be something to watch, but what he is in the short term is an effective player that could be a nice fit if given a chance.
