The Arizona Cardinals made a roster move today as the team cut ties with newly acquired cornerback B.W. Webb.
According to the NFL transaction wire, the Cardinals released Webb creating another spot on the roster. It’ll be interesting to see if they decide to fill that spot or if this is just one of the first cuts they make on their way to their final 53, which really is their initial 53.
Webb was brought in immediately after the Arizona Cardinals lost Robert Alford to a season ending pectoral injury. He was brought in along with Ken Crawley in the initial wave of moves.
When the Cardinals finally signed Dre Kirkpatrick after much speculation, it seemed like at least one of Webb or Crawley would be expendable. Webb is the first to go and who knows if Crawley or who else will join him.
Good luck in your next stop, B.W.
