Today the team announced they are releasing cornerback Jalen Davis, from the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has released cornerback Jalen Davis.
Davis played in two games with the Cardinals last season after beginning the year on Arizona’s practice squad.
Davis spent weeks 16 and 17 with the Arizona Cardinals, playing 21 snaps in two games on special teams.
Davis previously was with the Miami Dolphins on 2018, seeing action in three games, including playing 48 snaps on defense for the Dolphins.
This move isn’t a surprise, but could lead to a potential surprise on the final 53 roster as a number of young corners remain for the Cardinals.
Good luck to Davis in his next stop in his NFL career.
