The 2020 NFL opt out deadline is quickly approaching as the NFL has given players until Thursday, August 6th at 4:00 p.m. ET to decide whether or not to play in 2020.

The NFL as a whole has 45 players as of this writing, who have decided not to play, something that cannot change once they make that decision.

The NFC West seems to be on pace to be one of the lowest opt out rates among any division in football, but there are some changes since we checked in last week.

Let’s take a look.

Arizona Cardinals

  • None

Los Angeles Rams

  • Chandler Brewer, OT

San Francisco 49ers

  • None

Seattle Seahawks

  • Chance Warmack, OG

Thus far, there is one addition as backup offensive tackle Chandler Brewer of the Rams has decided to opt out. Warmack is the only player that was penciled in to start that has opted out, meaning we likely will see a full arsenal for each team.

Players have until Thursday, we will see if anything changes.
