The Arizona Cardinals completely dominated the first half of the game against the Washington Football Team.
We knew the WFT offense would be impotent, but the fact the Cardinals had miscues giving them chances in the redzone and lead at the half 20-0 is even more impressive than the score indicates.
The Arizona Cardinals finished the first half outgaining the WFT 245 to 96. The Cardinals had four sacks, forced two turnovers and finished the half just completely dominating in all three phases of the game.
It is the Cardinals best performance in the first half in the Kliff Kingsbury era on both sides of the ball.
Zane Gonzalez was 2-2 on field goal attempts and Kyler Murray finished the first half 16-20 for 189 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
On the interception, it’ll be interesting to see who they place the blame on because there was some clear miscommunication.
However, you can’t be too upset with the first half result and a commanding 20-0 lead.
Let’s hope for a quick second half and a decisive Cardinals win.
