Christian Kirk and Jordan Phillips both show up on Wednesday injury report for Arizona Cardinals

The ailments are starting to pile up for the Arizona Cardinals after only two weeks of the NFL season, but they all seem to be mild, week-to-week type of things.

This week is no different as the initial injury report for the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions is out.

Let’s take a look.

Mason Cole is still dealing with a hamstring issue and with the way that Lamont Gaillard has played, who knows if he gets his job back.

Larry Fitzgerald and DeAndre Hopkins get their normal Wednesday’s off, but two names have popped up on the injury list for the first time.

Big man, Jordan Phillips is dealing with an ankle issue. Depth is a strength at the defensive tackle position, but big men and leg injuries are never a good combination.

Christian Kirk is back on the injury report with a groin issue and may signal why Jaron Brown was brought back to the practice squad.

We will also keep an eye on Byron Murphy who was limited with a shoulder injury.

On the Detroit Lions side, only Desmond Trufant was a no go in practice on Wednesday.

The main man to watch is wide receiver Kenny Golladay. If Golladay is back, this Lions offense is really, really good.
