It feels a bit different coming off of a loss, but what did the Arizona Cardinals snap counts look like in the game against the Detroit Lions?
Let’s take a look.Quarterback
Kyler Murray - 65 snaps (100%)
Running Back
Kenyan Drake - 44 snaps (68%)
Chase Edmonds - 21 snaps (32%)
Wide Receiver
DeAndre Hopkins - 61 (94%)
Larry Fitzgerald - 56 (86%)
KeeSean Johnson - 46 (71%)
Andy Isabella - 26 (40%)
Trent Sherfield - 1 (2%)
Tight End
Darrell Daniels - 38 (58%)
Dan Arnold - 31 (48%)
Offensive Line
Kelvin Beachum - 65 (100%)
D.J. Humphries - 65 (100%)
Lamont Gaillard - 65 (100%)
J.R. Sweezy - 61 (94%)
Justin Pugh - 54 (83%)
Justin Murray - 16 (25%)
The first thing that jumps out is the reduction in snaps for the team. We have talked about the volume of play the Cardinals have run, and it was much less this week.
The biggest surprise is Andy Isabella doing all his damage on 40% of the snaps and Darrell Daniels getting the higher portion of the tight end snaps.
Let’s hope for health for Pugh, and winning the snaps battle against the Panthers.
