After being roughly ranked as a top 10 team in last week’s power rankings, several of you exercised caution with the hype. And... you were right to do so.

Surprisingly, most in the media did not drop the team too harshly despite dropping to a previously win-less underdog. Yahoo Sports even, uh... moved the Cards up? It seems mostly to dropping the Saints 6 whole spots. I’m not sure I quite get the reasoning there but I won’t get into that.

I’m still wiping egg off my face after musing a 5-0 start to the season, despite that... dare I say the Cardinals right the ship in the coming weeks? They catch the Panthers coming off their first win but without All-Pro Christian McCaffrey and what may be their easiest game on the schedule with the 0-3 NY Jets. After that, we’re looking at a pretty brutal stretch of opponents up until about the mid-December matchup with the Giants. Not coming out of these next two weeks sitting pretty could spell a really long couple of months for us all.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

What do you think? Do the experts have things about right this week or do you still see this unit belonging in the top 10?
