Maybe the most surprising Arizona Cardinals player in 2020 is having his ACL repaired.

Dennis Gardeck, the third year pro from Sioux Falls College is undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL.

The 26 year old outside linebacker and special teams ace had quite the 2020 season.

Gardeck only played 94 snaps on defense but was a huge impact on the pass rush, finishing the season with seven sacks and 10 quarterback hits.

That is incredible production in a limited amount of snaps.

There are a number of questions on Gardeck. He is a restricted free agent, so will the Cardinals bring him back, and if so how will they tender him?

Second, we will see how close Gardeck will be to returning to the field to start off the 2021 NFL season and what type of role he has if he is with the Cardinals.

Good luck and a speedy recovery to Gardeck.
