SB Nation Reacts: NFC West opponents confidence in teams direction goes two opposite ways after Wild Card Weekend

The confidence in the Arizona Cardinals is lacking right now, understandably after the final two weeks of the 2020 NFL regular season.

However, after Super Wild Card Weekend in the 2021 NFL Playoffs, it is interesting to see how the confidence in the two teams from the NFC West have changed dramatically.

This weeks SB Nation Reacts looked at it and the results are not surprising based on the outcome, but it is surprising just how little confidence one team has now.

Check it out.

The confidence in the direction of the Seahawks from their fans is not only the lowest of the season at 24%, it is the lowest of the Reacts era and shows the cracks forming in the Pacific Northwest. Especially when you remember the beginning of the season in 2020.

Rams fans meanwhile have completely changed their tune. The last two weeks reminds them that their defense is great and will keep them in games while their offense finds itself again.

After the loss to the New York Jets, confidence in the Rams direction dropped to 36% but has rocketed back up to 78% after the win over the Cardinals and 92% after their dominant showing in their playoff win over the Rams.

It’ll be interesting to see how Rams fans react if they lose to the Packers today as everyone expects. I guess how they lose will matter just as much to most fans.
