The Arizona Cardinals have the 16th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and the mock drafts are flying fast and furiously.
Dan Kadar is back covering the draft with the Akron Beacon Journal and he dropped a mock draft and his pick for the Arizona Cardinals is one I know quite a few would like.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
The Cardinals would have a hard time passing on Pitts if he’s available with the No. 16 pick. Cardinals tight end Dan Arnold had just 31 receptions for 448 yards. A standout tight end would hasten the development of quarterback Kyler Murray.
Getting Murray and the offense more weapons is important especially when you consider that the Arizona Cardinals offense took a step back in 2020.
Pitts would give the Cardinals a big, athletic target opposite of DeAndre Hopkins and Murray a reliable second option.
Check out the mock and see if you would have taken Pitts at 16.
