As the 2021 offseason approaches, the mock drafts will continue to ramp up.
We obviously won’t cover every single one of them but when the bigger outlets and publications drop one we’ll definitely cover it.
That’s why when Pro Football Focus dropped their newest mock draft for the 2021 NFL Draft season, we had to check it out.
16. ARIZONA CARDINALS: EDGE JAYSON OWEH, PENN STATE
Jayson Oweh is another excellent athlete who has started to round out his game. He improved significantly against the run in 2020, and he’s posted back-to-back years of 80.0-plus pass-rush grades. With his get-off and length, Oweh is just scratching the surface, and like Paye, he may be even better in the NFL than he was in college.
Until the Cardinals resolve their edge rusher issue, mocks will continue to give them edge players and it makes sense.
Edge is one of the premium positions in the NFL and you need more than one.
Oweh didn’t put up much in the way of numbers in 2020, but he has elite traits that could project to a major impact player.
What would you think?
