CBS Sports mocks Caleb Farley to Arizona Cardinals in new 2021 NFL Mock Draft

The Arizona Cardinals are woefully thin at the cornerback position, so until that is addressed in free agency, we will be seeing that mocked frequently to the team.

Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports dropped a new mock draft today and has the Cardinals taking a cornerback to help them beef up the position.

16. Arizona Cardinals - Caleb Farley, CB - Virginia Tech

No one will be shocked when Patrick Peterson is on a new team in 2021. The Cardinals need to get another cornerback to round out the secondary.

Farley is a long, explosive athlete at the corner position, but didn’t play in 2020 and has not been a corner for long as he was at VaTech as a wide receiver initially, but he was excellent in 2019.

He is a potential number one corner in the NFL.

Patience and understanding is what teams will need, but Farley could be a special player.
