When the Arizona Cardinals step up to the podium in April with the 16th pick they will inevitably have a slew of talented prospects to pick from.

The question becomes, who will those players be.

For now let’s take a look at three different sites and who they have as the 16th best prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Pro Football Focus

16. CHRISTIAN DARRISAW, T, VIRGINIA TECH

Christian Darrisaw turned in the second-highest-graded season from a Power 5 tackle in a massive breakout 2020 season. He’s an easy people-mover that few are going through.

Darrisaw would be a fit for the Cardinals as teams always need talent along the offensive line. The question is can he or Josh Jones play guard? I am not opposed to Darrisaw, I am opposed to another tackle if you don’t have a plan for Josh Jones.

Daniel Jeremiah

16) Trevon Moehrig, S

School: TCU | Year: Junior

Moehrig has adequate size, but excellent versatility and instincts. He can play in the deep post or cover in the slot. He is a smooth, fluid mover in man coverage underneath. He also possesses ideal anticipation and range from the back end. He has the ability to consistently match patterns and position himself for plays on the ball. The former TCU star does need to improve his finishing ability, having dropped a couple interceptions in the games I studied. He takes quality angles in run support and is a reliable, low tackler. Overall, Moehrig offers a complete skill set at the position. He will provide his defensive coordinator with options, which is exactly what’s desired in 2021.

Safety may be the one position that the Arizona Cardinals do not need to address and even though Moehrig is a dynamic playmaker that could help any team, let’s not get into this right now.

16. Travis Etienne, RB - Clemson

Etienne is a dynamic playmaker and one of the better all-around running backs that has been in college football in recent years. He would give the Cardianls a workhorse for four or five years if the Cardinals wanted to go in that direction.

Etienne and Darrisaw would be good fits, Moehring is a very good prospect, but maybe not for the Cardinals.

Do any tickle your fancy?
