Arizona Cardinals hopes crumbled early in the game with Kyler Murray’s ankle injury.

It left a huge hole on the offense and the Cardinals defense continues to struggle against young quarterbacks and that ends the 2020 NFL season for the Arizona Cardinals.

The question becomes, what will the offseason hold for the team?

Murray was hurt after only seven plays in the game and the Cardinals offense could never recover.

Chris Streveler was awful, and will be one of the big questions that Kliff Kingsbury has to answer on why Streveler was the backup after how well Brett Hundley performed in 2019.

Murray tried to go back in in the fourth quarter and he just didn’t have enough to give the Cardinals a win. He tried, but a blocked field goal attempt basically put the nail in the coffin for the Cardinals season.

Now, what do the Cardinals do?

Can they bring back Kliff Kingsbury? He had the team at 6-3, but finished the season 2-5 and 0-4 in the division.

The offense fell flat the back half of the season and most importantly, they looked woefully under prepared the final two games of the season when they needed just one win.

Can they bring back Vance Joseph? He gave up 731 yards of offense to C.J. Beathard and John Wolford the last two weeks.

There are so many questions that have to be answered, but right now, we just lament what might have been.
