The Arizona Cardinals are taking some hits this season on the Covid-19 front.
Chandler Jones is already on the Covid-19 reserve list for the game against the Cleveland Browns, unfortunately joining him this week will be Zach Allen.
However, maybe the most important person missing this Sunday will be head coach and play caller Kliff Kingsbury.
From the team:
Arizona Cardinals head coach KLIFF KINGSBURY, quarterbacks coach CAM TURNER, and defensive tackle ZACH ALLEN will miss Sunday’s game at Cleveland after testing positive for Covid-19.
Defensive coordinator VANCE JOSEPH and Assistant Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator JEFF RODGERS will split head coaching responsibilities while additional offensive duties will be assumed by other members of the offensive coaching staff.
It was already a tall task with Jones out and Rodney Hudson still injured, but now it feels like quite the mountain for the Arizona Cardinals to climb to stay undefeated.
Tough Friday news dump for the Cardinals after the exciting Zach Ertz news earlier.
Let’s hope for a quick recovery for all involved.
