Arizona Cardinals betting preview against the Houston Texans

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Tennessee Titans Steve Roberts-USA TODAY Sports

Have you dabbled in the new sports betting allowed in Arizona?

I have, and one of the first apps I downloaded was the DraftKings Sportsbook.

One of the things that has made this season a bit more fun over the first six weeks is being able to put money on games.

For a new segment each week we will look at 2-3 bets I like in the Arizona Cardinals games, since they have done a nice job of paying me a little extra money each week.

Let’s take a look.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook the Arizona Cardinals are -17.5 heading into the game, which is something I would stay away from. While I think the Cardinals are three scores better than the Houston Texans, the NFL is wonky and that is a big line.

Here are two bets I do like though.

Kyler Murray + DeAndre Hopkins Over 1.5 Combined Rushing + Receiving TDs +125

Murray should have rushed for a touchdown last week, and of course Hopkins had two receiving touchdowns, so I feel like against a bad defense this is a good way to make some money. $25 to win $56.25

Longest Field Goal Made Yards over 45.5 yards -110

The Cardinals trust Matt Prater in long kick situations, and the Cardinals defense is not likely to allow too many opportunities for the Texans to score, so give me this one as well. $25 to win $47.72

Good luck and make sure you check out the new DraftKings Sportsbook.
