For the first quarter, things were not great.
Yet, it did not matter because the Arizona Cardinals were up big at halftime 17-5, despite being down 0-5 into the second quarter.
It was one of those situations that you worry about.
Team comes out soft on offense, thinks they are going to roll, then doesn’t protect the franchise quarterback.
In turn, the Cardinals have had two play where you had to worry about Kyler Murray’s health.
For the first half, the Cardinals statistically dominated things.
Kyler Murray was 13/18 for 159 yards and two touchdowns. DeAndre Hopkins had one of those and that had to feel good for him.
Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals defense continues to be on one.
At half, the Texans were under 100 yards of total offense, Markus Golden was playing like an All Pro, and J.J. Watt was making the Texans regret their decision.
Let’s hope for a dominant second half and a win from the Arizona Cardinals.
