Arizona Cardinals defensive snap counts in win over Houston Texans

Syndication: Arizona Republic Rob Schumacher/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Quite the performance from the Arizona Cardinals defense.

They gave up three points, the offense gave up a safety, and utterly dominated the Houston Texans. However, they now have to take on an NFL team.

Before that, let’s take a look at the snap counts in the win over the Texans.

Marco Wilson - 55 (98%)
Jalen Thompson - 45 (80%)
Isaiah Simmons - 44 (79%)
Byron Murphy Jr - 44 (79%)
Robert Alford - 43 (77%)
Budda Baker - 42 (75%)
Markus Golden - 40 (71%)

Those are the only guys who had 70% of the snaps or more. What a performance that they were able to keep the counts that low and only Wilson saw over 90% of the snaps.

Jordan Hicks - 36 (64%)
Zaven Collins - 32 (57%)
Devon Kennard - 32 (57%)
J.J. Watt - 30 (54%)
Michael Dogbe - 27 (48%)
Leki Fotu - 26 (46%)
Jordan Phillips - 23 (41%)

Quite the easy day for many key contributors. More than anything just how low the snap counts were, not even the percentages.

Dennis Gardeck - 16 (29%)
Josh Mauro - 15 (27%)
Deionte Thompson - 14 (25%)
Antonio Hamilton - 12 (21%)
Victor Dimukeje - 11 (20%)
Tanner Vallejo - 11 (20%)
Chris Banjo - 9 (16%)
Joe Walker - 9 (16%)
