What a difference a day makes.

Corey Peters, one of the stalwarts and best run defenders on the Arizona Cardinals roster was activated off the Covid-19 reserve list today... Definitely feels like a day late.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has activated defensive lineman Corey Peters from the Reserve/COVID-19 list and has released offensive lineman Zack Johnson.

While I would not go as far as saying the Cardinals win the game with Peters in tow, I would say that there is no doubt they would have done a better job against Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers rushing attack with a health Peters.

Of course, that is part of the NFL game, being short-handed on Thursday Night Football.

Let’s hope the Cardinals use their mini-bye week to help them get ready for a run to 10-1 heading into the real bye after the best start in franchise history.
