Arizona Cardinals place Justin Murray on injured reserve

There is nothing quite like a Friday news dump of, Arizona Cardinals place Murray on injured reserve, as an email then remembering there is a second player on the roster with the last name Murray.

That is what happened with me on Friday, and while it is not Kyler and that is good, it is unfortunately Justin Murray who will go on IR, and that is not great with the injuries mounting along the offensive line for the Arizona Cardinals.

Murray played snaps in each of the first three games for the Arizona Cardinals, before getting injured in the Jacksonville Jaguars game.

He has not been able to practice or play much since, and the Cardinals felt like IR was the best option.

Now, when he will come off IR is the question.

The Cardinals started Max Garcia at right guard and second year player Josh Jones at right tackle on Sunday and the offensive line looked great.

The problem is Justin Pugh has been dealing with an injury as well, and we know Kelvin Beachum has been hurting and missed the last two weeks. So, while the line is playing well, it seems to be hanging by a thread.

Let’s hope for health quickly.
