We knew this day would come, but apparently that does not matter.

No, after the Arizona Cardinals lost their first game of the 2021 NFL season, the negative reactions are up, but not nearly as badly as I expected.

After weeks at 100% confidence in the direction of the team, the confidence has fallen slightly, as fans are now 95% confident in the direction of the team.

The fall is not surprising, the loss was always going to give some fans the reaction of, I knew this was coming, they are still the Cardinals, Kliff and Kyler can’t close out seasons.

However, the way they lost after playing so poorly for most of the game should have actually made fans feel a bit better.

To have a shot to win, and a mistake cost you the game? Against one of the five best teams in the NFC? Not too bad.

Let’s hope for some improvement and health this weekend to get us back to 100%.
