Arizona Cardinals bully San Francisco 49ers in 31-17 win

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

What a performance from the Arizona Cardinals.

James Conner had three total touchdowns, Eno Benjamin had perhaps the best run of any Cardinals running back in 2021 with a powerful, 26-yard touchdown run and Colt McCoy had what can only be described as the perfect backup quarterback game as the Arizona Cardinals move to 8-1 on the season after a 31-17 thrashing of the San Francisco 49ers.

No Kyler.

No DeAndre.

No A.J.

No J.J.

No problem, as the Arizona Cardinals offense was lead by a dominant performance from James Conner and an efficient performance by Colt McCoy.

On defense, the Cardinals had a phenomenal game just completely shutting down what was supposed to be a dominant 49ers rushing game.

Instead, we got a quick lead by the Arizona Cardinals offense and then the defense was able to pin their ears back.

It resulted in sacks from Chandler Jones, Jordan Phillips and three sacks by Markus Golden. Oh, and a late game interception for Budda Baker.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers are losing to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arizona Cardinals will be back in first place in the NFC.

Not a bad way to get back into things.
