As the offseason continues and not much is going on we will look at different stories from around the NFC West and our friends at the other sites from SB Nation.

One article that caught my eye today was on Niners Nation about superstar pass rusher Nick Bosa.

From the story:

For one thing, it says multiple times that both injuries were more than just a simple ACL repair. The words “more extensive” and “bigger injuries” were used. This corroborates reporting at the time that cited cartilage damage in addition to torn ligaments for Bosa.

This sucks as a football fan. While Bosa will likely be back at full strength by his fourth season, degenerative knees are tough to overcome no matter how great a player is.

It could mean nothing, it could mean that he is only able to play at a high level for four or five seasons, but you never want to see knee issues for a player that looked like he could be a perennial all pro.

We will keep an eye on this as the offseason progresses.
