With the 2021 NFL Draft approaching we are looking at a number of scenarios for the Arizona Cardinals.

Pro Football Focus is as well, and they took a look at the best and worst case scenario in the offseason for the Cardinals.

Best-case: Patrick Surtain II falls to Arizona at the 16th overall pick, and they work to patch up the secondary in free agency with a low-budget pickup like Gareon Conley

Worst-case: They are on the outside looking in on the cornerback market

The worst-case is quite obviously the worst-case, because the idea the Cardinals run back with something like Robert Alford, Dre Kirkpatrick and Byron Murphy Jr.

That is a tough one to swallow.

Instead, maybe the Cardinals could bring back Patrick Peterson, draft a Patrick Surtain or maybe Tay Gowan on day two.

The Cardinals need to really overhaul the cornerback position and it would be a worst-case scenario for the team this offseason.
