Happy Friday one and all, we have made it!
As we head into another February weekend, we get another February Mock Draft.
This week's was by far my favorite one that I've done, but also feels like it will never come to fruition in the 2021 NFL Draft.
That's why these are fun though, gives you different scenarios to work through.
16. Patrick Surtain II, CB - Alabama
49. Terrace Marshall Jr, WR - LSU
79. Javonte Williams, RB - North Carolina
I was stunned with all three.
Surtain and Marshall are a coin flip if they make it to their respective draft positions, but I've never had Williams available.
In fact, this would be on paper, the best case scenario for the Cardinals in my opinion.
With Surtain you get the most polished and NFL ready corner in the draft.
In Marshall Jr, you get a dynamic number two wide receiver who can win at all levels of the field, giving you a great one-two punch with DeAndre Hopkins.
In Williams you get a potential three-down workhorse who has some Aaron Jones to his game.
This is a dream scenario which I cannot see working out.
However, if the first two picks do work out with Surtain and Marshall, I think this draft is a win.
Especially because in round three you have some choices in:
Creed Humphrey
Tommy Togiai
Rashad Weaver
Ben Cleveland
Shakur Brown
If you end up getting Surtain and Marshall, you can pick your flavor in round three.
