As the 2020 NFL season goes into the rear view mirror, we finally have the full idea of what the 2021 NFL Draft will look like.
With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning the Super Bowl, they will be picking 32nd.
That means a ton of new 2021 NFL Mock Drafts will be dropping in the next several days. We start with a new Pro Football Focus Mock Draft that has the Arizona Cardinals getting help on the offensive line.
16. ARIZONA CARDINALS: T CHRISTIAN DARRISAW, VIRGINIA TECH
With the top-three receivers and Kyle Pitts off the board, the Cardinals can go a number of different ways. Darrisaw could not only protect their franchise quarterback, but he can also take their running game to the next level given his 94.5 run-blocking grade in 2019. With Kelvin Beachum on a one-year deal and never being much a run-blocker, this could be the best long-term option.
I have talked about Christian Darrisaw and I am always good with beefing up the offensive line. I just want to make sure there is a plan in place for Josh Jones moving forward and we don’t see another day two draft pick fail.
Darrisaw is a people mover. He is massive and he moves well. He would be a great bookend opposite D.J. Humphries and give the Cardinals much needed flexibility in the coming season when they have to make a decision on Humphries.
Again, as long as this is to play with Josh Jones and not to play instead of Jones, I like beefing up the offensive line.
What are your thoughts?
