The Arizona Cardinals are making moves.
Well...internal moves.
The team is officially tendering one it their more productive young players.
Linebacker Dennis Gardeck, who netted a career high seven sacks last season prior to tearing his ACL, is receiving a second-round tender.
We have tendered one-year contract offers to restricted free agent LB Dennis Gardeck and LB Zeke Turner, and also to exclusive rights LB Kylie Fitts.

Here is a breakdown:
Second-round tender: One-year contract worth the greater of (a) $3.259 million or (b) 110 percent of the player’s prior-year base salary. Draft-choice compensation: second-round pick.
Gardeck is also active on special teams, but figures to see more playing time on defense in 2021.
The once undrafted player nabbed his 7 sacks in just 93 reps last season. He figures to be the primary backup to both Chandler Jones and the newly signed Markus Golden.
Gardeck is currently rehabbing his torn ACL but figures to be ready for the start of the 2021 season.
