While the headlines were all about the moves the Arizona Cardinals made on Thursday, one visit in free agency is quite the interesting note.

The Arizona Cardinals will be bringing in Colt McCoy for a visit to likely be the primary backup to Kyler Murray.

McCoy is a veteran quarterback that has been in the NFL for 10 seasons, he has played in 44 games and started 30 in his career.

He has become a solid veteran backup in the NFL and made a great career out of it.

In his career, McCoy has completed 60.7% of his passes for 6,455 yards, 30 touchdowns and 28 interceptions.

He filled in for two games last year for the New York Giants, going 1-1 in those starts.

The ten year veteran was a third round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns, where he spent three seasons and started 21 games.

From there he spent a season in San Francisco, before spending five seasons with the Washington Football Team, where he appeared in 12 games, starting seven and going 1-6, before moving to the Giants.

What would you think of McCoy as the Cardinals backup quarterback?
