Happy Saturday one and all.
We are heading into a bipolar weekend in the desert, going from 65 and rainy on Friday to a balmy 89 and sunny on Monday.
We also had a hectic Friday of 2021 NFL Draft trades.
How does this playout for a new 2021 NFL Mock Draft for the Arizona Cardinals?
Let’s do three rounds this fine Saturday morning.
16. Arizona Cardinals trade with Tennessee Titans for picks 22 and 85
22. Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern
Newsome is kind of the forgotten man in this cornerback class. He has been putting in work at Northwestern, tested out of this world and put up numbers in coverage:
On passes 10+ yards downfield, Newsome allowed just 1 catch and forced 4 incompletions in 2020, per PFF.

If Surtain is gone, I think Jaycee Horn AND Newsome deserve consideration at No. 10 if DAL is set on CB.
If Patrick Surtain II and Jaycee Horn are off the board at 16, then a trade down would be perfect, but Newsome is worth it even if they stay at 16.
49. Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina
Williams would give the Cardinals the power back to Chase Edmonds slasher. He is a load at 5-10 225lbs, and runs with his hair on fire. Williams would be a nice compliment to the Cardinals running back room and give them a big back they lack at this time.
85. Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State - Pick from Tennessee Titans
Wallace is dynamic receiver with big play ability and showed it at Oklahoma State consistently. He is a very good route runner, and dynamic with the ball in the air. He profiles out to be a very good WR2.
