The Arizona Cardinals made a splash when they signed J.J. Watt.
Now the question is, could they find bargain veterans in free agency after being released from their teams?
The Cardinals need help at tight end and Kyle Rudolph was just released by the Minnesota Vikings.
After five consecutive seasons of playing in every game, the veteran missed four games in 2020.
He is a solid two-way tight end as a blocker and receiver, he has slowed down quite a bit, but likely has just enough left in the tank for maybe one year.
Kyle Van Noy is a veteran who has played on the edge and off the ball at linebacker in his career. He is a free agent once again and the Cardinals could use a nice veteran presence at linebacker to help a guy like Isaiah Simmons and give Jordan Hicks some backup... or maybe replace Hicks.
There are other players that could be coming down the pike as well.
Have any caught your eye?
