What the Arizona Cardinals do at 16 is up for debate, yet the rest of their draft is just as intriguing.
The Cardinals pick 49th, then don’t have anything to do until pick 160 in round five, barring a trade.
That’s a lot of waiting around.
That’s why when it was reported that Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach and run game coordinator Sean Kugler was at the Notre Dame Pro Day, it catches your eye.
The gem of the Notre Dame offensive line class is Liam Eichenberg, but he may not be a guy who fits at 16 and will likely be gone by 49.
That begs the question, show as Kugler there to watch?
Aaron Banks is a massive guard prospect at 6-5 325lbs who tested better athletically than he played. In fact, his 7.33 three-cone would put him in the 94th percentile of testers at guard, which is something considering his size.
Robert Hainsey had a 4.64 shuttle and 7.57 three cone at 6-4 306lbs. Meaning he’s a little leaner and quicker.
However, what if Kugler was there for someone else?
Tommy Tremble measured in a 6-3 and 241lbs and ran a 4.59 forty. He’s a devastating blocker and could be the H-Back missing in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
What do you think?
