Arizona Cardinals sign five players to contracts heading into 2021 NFL offseason

The Arizona Cardinals are staying busy today.

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed wide receiver Andre Baccellia (buh-CHELL-ee), defensive lineman Ryan Bee, running back Tavien Feaster, linebacker Jamell Garcia-Williams and wide receiver Darece Roberson, Jr. (DOOR-ece). In accordance with club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Baccellia (5-10, 175) spent training camp in 2020 with the Chiefs and Patriots after signing with Kansas City as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Washington. The 24-year old Baccellia played 48 games at Washington and caught 107 passes for 1,183 yards and five touchdowns while also rushing for 119 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. He played in 11 games as a senior in 2019 and had 29 receptions for 314 yards and four touchdowns.

Bee (6-7, 280) played in one game with Washington as a rookie in 2019 and had one tackle after entering the league as an undrafted rookie free agent from Marshall. He spent the majority of his rookie season on Washington’s practice squad prior to being released last year following training camp. While at Marshall, the 25-year old Bee played in 44 games and had 200 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 18.0 sacks, seven passes defensed, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

Feaster (6-0, 221) spent time on the practice squads of the Lions and Giants in 2020 as a rookie after entering the league with Jacksonville as an undrafted rookie free agent out of South Carolina. He played at South Carolina in 2019 as a graduate transfer after spending his first three seasons at Clemson. While at South Carolina, Feaster ran for 572 yards and five touchdowns. In his three seasons at Clemson (41 games), Feaster ran for 1,330 yards and 15 touchdowns on 222 carries while also catching 23 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown. The 23-year old Feaster was a part of Clemson’s 2018 National Championship team.

Garcia-Williams (6-7, 264) signed with San Francisco as an undrafted rookie free agent from UAB in 2019 and was released following training camp that season. A collegiate defensive lineman, Garcia-Williams appeared in 22 games in two seasons (2017-18) with the Blazers and had 44 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, four passes defensed and a fumble recovery. The 24-year old Garcia-Williams spent two seasons at Eastern Arizona College prior to transferring to UAB.

Roberson Jr. (5-9, 170) played collegiately at Wayne State University (2016-19) where he appeared in 43 games (33 starts) and had 92 receptions for 1,767 yards (19.2-yard avg.) and 24 touchdowns to go along with 32 kickoff returns for 774 yards (24.2-yard avg.) and a touchdown and 21 punt returns for 247 yards (11.8-yard avg.) and a touchdown. The 22-year old Roberson ranks second in school history in average yards per catch, third in touchdown receptions and sixth in receiving yards.
