Despite not having a shot at Kyle Pitts, tight end options strong for Arizona Cardinals in 2021 NFL Draft

NCAA Football: Notre Dame at Michigan Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals need help at tight end and maybe the 2021 NFL Draft can give them some assistance.

Everyone wants a Kyle Pitts, a dynamic receiver and willing blocker, but he is going in the top 10.

Who else could the Cardinals nab in the 2021 NFL Draft though?

Here are four other talented prospects to know in no meaningful order.

  • Pat Freiermuth - Penn State: Big, prototype tight end prospect with a second round grade from most publications. Would be the nice foil for Maxx Williams.
  • Tommy Tremble - Notre Dame: Tremble is known for his blocking, he is almost an H-Back/Fullback type. Yet, he is athletic and gives some different looks.
  • Brevin Jordan - Miami: A YAC guy, Jordan has some questions to answer if he can be more than a close to the line of scrimmage type. You are banking on him turning into a Delanie Walker type.
  • Hunter Long - Boston College: Your prototypical day three tight end prospect, Long has some limitations athletically, but could be a Maxx Williams clone type.

The Cardinals could have some interesting options at tight end in the draft.
