The Arizona Cardinals have seen a lot of action ahead of them in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Today, the Carolina Panthers traded a 2021 sixth round pick, a 2022 second round pick and a 2024 fourth round pick for New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold.

This will all but guarantee what everyone was expecting before, that Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson and one more quarterback will go in the top three picks.
It also could take the Panthers out of contention for a quarterback, or as my buddy Kyle Posey explained, maybe the Panthers don’t want to take a chance that Mac Jones is making it to the eighth pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Or, as Kyle said maybe the Panther know that four are going early and believe that Darnold is still a better choice than Jones.
Now the question is, how will that impact the Arizona Cardinals in the 2021 NFL Draft? It likely takes one more team out of the quarterback game, but maybe it could send Jones down the board to the Cardinals where they could take advantage and move down.
What do you think?
