Five players to be excited to see play against the Arizona Cardinals in 2021

The Arizona Cardinals 2021 schedule is here and the first ever 17-game slate has some intriguing matchups.

Let’s skip the yearly division matchups and look at five players to be excited about seeing in 2021.

1. Derrick Henry - The Arizona Cardinals kick things off with a bang. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year ran for a measly 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns in his All Pro season. It will be a great way to see how Isaiah Simmons and Zaven Collins handle the workload.
2. Trevor Lawrence - The Arizona Cardinals get the number one overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and maybe the most hyped quarterback prospect in the last decade. It will be a great opportunity for the team to make a statement on their improved defense.
3. Baker Mayfield vs Kyler Murray II - The Arizona Cardinals travel to Cleveland to take on the Cleveland Browns and we get Mayfield vs Murray part two. Murray is 1-0 and the both teams are vastly different from the last matchup.
4. Khalil Mack - Another rookie quarterback, they should be getting a chance to see Fields by this time of the season, but there is not a better player in the NFL than Mack. We can see his greatness against the revamped and hopefully improved Arizona Cardinals offensive line.
5. Carson Wentz - Will Wentz find his MVP form from 2017? The Cardinals get a great chance to really put a stamp on their 2021 season on Christmas day 2021.
