Kyler Murray and A.J. Green working out together

When the Arizona Cardinals signed A.J. Green this offseason, many looked at it oddly.

The seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver is four seasons removed from his last highly productive season, when he had 75 catches for 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns.

Since then, he has combined for 93 receptions and 1,217 yards and eight touchdowns in 2018 and 2020. He didn’t play a down in 2019.

Why would the Cardinals see Green as the answer across from DeAndre Hopkins.

Green will be 33 in July and needs to show he can play and stay healthy for an entire season.

What he doesn’t need to show is that he is putting in the work.

Just in case you were wondering, Green is putting in the work and doing it with the right guy… Kyler Murray.
