Not too much on Thursday in May, but we have an offseason schedule for the Arizona Cardinals, so there is that.
The NFL announced each teams offseason schedule, including their rookie minicamp and OTA’s.
Obviously the OTA’s are voluntary, but here is what the schedule looks like.
- Rookie minicamp: May 14-16
- OTAs: May 25-27, June 2-4, June 7-10
- Mandatory minicamp: June 15-17
Teams can have 10 voluntary OTA’s over those dates, and then of course there is the mandatory aspect of camp.
It will be interesting this offseason to see which veterans show up to the OTA’s, as it has been a bit of sore spot in 2019 when the team had key veteran players decide that they would prefer to skip the OTA’s, including newly acquired veteran’s.
Will players like J.J. Watt, Rodney Hudson and A.J. Green be there?
We will know in about three weeks.
Do you think it matters if the veterans show?
