The Arizona Cardinals took a chance when they signed A.J. Green to a one-year contract.

We have talked about the fact that he’s struggled with injuries and consistency since 2017.

Bleacher Report looked at one player who could disappoint on every team and they see Green as the most likely candidate for the Arizona Cardinals.

Both Green and the Cardinals could be disappointed with the 32-year-old’s contributions.

Green hasn’t had a 1,000-yard season since 2017. He missed the entire 2019 campaign with an ankle injury. And despite being healthy for all 16 games in 2020, he wasn’t particularly effective even with Joe Burrow under center.

He finished with just 523 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Bengals quarterbacks had a collective passer rating of 55.1 when targeting Green.

It makes sense to have concerns.

The Cardinals paid Green $6 million for the season and the Cardinals are betting on him finally staying healthy and finding a bit of the fountain of youth with the Cardinals and catching passes from Kyler Murray.

What do you think?
