Chandler Jones and Jordan Hicks missing from mandatory mini-camp for the Arizona Cardinals

For the Arizona Cardinals the first day of mandatory mini-camp has come and gone and two players decided they are okay taking on the fines for missing.

Jordan Hicks continues to be absent as his agents seek a trade. That’s not going to happen now, he just isn’t valuable enough for a team right now.

The bigger issue continues to be that Chandler Jones is not participating in offseason workouts, although he did show up to camp which is a start.

Jones is in the final year of his contract, but we don’t know exactly what is going on, although Kliff Kingsbury has hinted he is aware of what is going on.

“We’ve been in communication with both guys,” he said after practice. “We know the situations and so I’ll leave that dialogue between us.”
