NFL fines 49ers, Cowboys and Jaguars for OTA violations

It’s the offseason, which means it is time for coaches and organizations to get into trouble for overworking their teams.

That’s right, three NFL teams were fined for excess work during OTA’s and one of them is in the Arizona Cardinals division while they will see another this season.

So the San Francisco 49ers were fined $100,000 while head coach Kyle Shanahan was fined $50,000.

The Dallas Cowboys followed suit and also were fined $100,000 and head coach Mike McCarthy $50,000.

Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars took it a step further. The Jags were fined $200,000 while new head coach Urban Meyer picked up where he left off in college getting into trouble and getting fined $100,000.

It is kind of crazy that Meyer and the Jags went that far in their first offseason workouts to get fined that much.

What a way to start the Meyer and Trevor Lawrence era.
