Arizona Cardinals sign veteran cornerback Daryl Worley

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals signed a veteran cornerback afterall, just not the one we were all hoping for.

The team announced on Monday they had signed veteran cornerback Daryl Worley.

From the team:

Worley (6-1, 210) is a five-year NFL veteran who spent time with Las Vegas, Dallas and Buffalo last season and appeared in 10 games. He originally entered the league with Carolina as a third-round selection (77th overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft out of West Virginia and spent his first two seasons with the Panthers. Worley then appeared in 27 games (25 starts) with the Raiders before playing with the Cowboys and Bills last season. In his career, the 26-year old Worley has played in 66 games (54 starts) and has 265 tackles (211 solo), five interceptions, 37 passes defensed, and one fumble recovery.

Worley hasn’t been great in his career, but he brings veteran presence to a team that needs one.

What do you think of the Worley signing.
