The Arizona Cardinals have added yet another veteran defensive tackle to the roster.
Just days after welcoming back longtime Cardinal Corey Peters, Arizona is signing nine year veteran DT Jack Crawford.

Crawford posted a marginal grade of 53.5 (via Pro Football Focus) during his lone season with the Titans.
His best season as a pro came during his 2018 campaign with the Atlanta Falcons where he record a career high six sacks.
This addition upfront is not unexpected given the slew of injuries that are piling up along the Cardinal defensive line. Zach Allen, Jordan Phillips, Rashard Lawrence and J.J. Watt have all missed considerable time during the start of training camp.
The Cardinals also were plagued by injuries upfront a year ago.
Not ideal for the Cardinals that two players they're counting on along the defensive line (Jordan Phillips, Zach Allen) seemingly can't stay healthy after missing time last year.

Watt's return will be imperative otherwise this position unit looks a lot like the 2020 group...
To make room for Crawford, the Cardinals have released OT Ryan Pope.
The Arizona Cardinals host the Dallas Cowboys this Friday at State Farm Stadium in their first preseason game.
