The Arizona Cardinals continue to add camp bodies, as the team announced they have claimed cornerback Luq Barcoo off waivers.
From the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has been awarded its waiver claim on cornerback Luq Barcoo (Luke / BAR-koo) from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Barcoo (6-1, 175) played three games (one start) with the Jaguars as a rookie last season and had seven tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass defensed. He entered the league in 2020 with Jacksonville as an undrafted rookie free agent out of San Diego State. While at San Diego State, Barcoo was an All-American and first-team All-Mountain West selection after leading the nation with nine interceptions and 16 passes defensed as a senior in 2019. The 23-year old Barcoo left the program ranked second in school history with 10 interceptions despite playing just two seasons.
We will see if there are any subsequent moves coming, but for now, welcome to the desert Luq.
